How do I wash the abaya?

At AbayaRossa, we recommend hand washing your abaya to ensure its longevity and to protect delicate fabrics and embellishments. To start, turn the abaya inside out to prevent snagging or damage to any decorations. Use a gentle detergent formulated for delicate fabrics, and fill a basin or sink with cold water. Allow the abaya to soak for a few minutes, gently agitating the water to help release any dirt or grime. Rinse the abaya thoroughly with cold water, avoiding twisting or wringing to prevent stretching or misshaping. After rinsing, gently press out excess water by laying the abaya flat between two clean, dry towels and rolling them up. Finally, reshape the abaya and lay it flat to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading or damage to any embellishments.
Do we need to wear an inner?

It is advisable to wear an inner underneath the off-white color abayas from AbayaRossa for added coverage. While our abayas are designed with modesty in mind, lighter colors such as off-white may benefit from the additional coverage provided by wearing an inner garment. This ensures that the abaya maintains its elegant and modest appearance while offering the comfort and coverage you desire.
